Take A Stroll Down Baltimore Street

At the turn of the twentieth century Baltimore Street was the most predominate business district in Cumberland, Maryland. Along Baltimore Street you will discover our recreational and city vehicles from a Rockaway Omnibus (the first city bus), to a Roof Seat Break used for coaching, to a 1920 Buick Roadster. As you stroll down Baltimore Street you will make stops at McMullen Brothers department store, with its white enamel bricks, Schwarzenbach & Son's clothing store, and Rosenbaum Brothers department store (the largest department store between Pittsburgh and Baltimore at the time).
